IGES has provided investigative, design and construction monitoring services on more than 1500 energy, mineral and industrial projects throughout the Intermountain West. Investigative services focus on geotechnical site investigations, laboratory testing and development of traditional comprehensive geotechnical project reports. Unlike many geotechnical consultants, IGES also provides design services for many of these projects including the development of cut slope geometry for open pits, tailings dam designs, municipal solid waste (MSW) lined landfill and closure design, deep foundation and excavation design for water and wastewater facility expansions and deep foundation design for transmission system design. Additionally, in support of designs, IGES also develops permit applications and meets with regulators throughout the design and construction process to address any issues and questions that may arise to assure an approved and successful project.

IGES can perform a variety of construction services to support both the project Owners as well as project Contractors.
